HOUSTON, Texas –IronStone Bank, a subsidiary of First Citizens BancShares Inc. (Nasdaq: FCNCA), opened a loan production office today (Monday, June 18) at the northwest corner of Westheimer Road and Post Oak Boulevard across from the Galleria shopping complex.

The bank’s Houston area administration and lending associates have relocated from temporary offices at 4801 Woodway Drive in the Regus Center to the new Galleria office, which is located next to the Ethan Allen store. The bank plans to convert the Galleria loan office to include full-service deposit operations later this fall.
Doonan, who has more than 25 years of banking experience, oversees the bank’s operations and business development efforts in the community. Doonan’s team includes Business Bankers Rick Ulloa and Francis Tongol, Working Capital Finance Sales Representative Doris Leal and Banker Assistant Joyce Boehm.
Houston is the bank’s second Texas market. IronStone has four offices in Austin and expects to open two new Dallas branches at Uptown Center, 2626 Howell Street, Suite 110; and Lakeside Village Shopping Center, 9669 North Central Expressway, Suite 130.
Since opening its first office in Austin in September 2002, IronStone Bank has expanded to 23 branches in Texas, Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington.
